JOSEPH JOB - A student at INTO Manchester

I would like to thank Mrs. Tara Pillay and Mrs. Kalpana Deepak from the bottom of my heart for helping me through the college application process. I couldn’t have reached the decision to study in the U.K. without your guidance. You were always there to help me with your widespread knowledge about anything. I cannot stress enough the gratitude for the services provided. Your support has been greatly appreciated by my family and me, especially when you helped me through the numerous hurdles thrown in our direction. I look forward to consulting with you again and also I will be sure to recommend you to anyone who needs a counsellor.

We are glad to have Varsity Connections on board to support our counselling department. Our counselling department does a great job of handling student caseloads along with conducting a number of career counselling activities. Varsity Connections ably supports the department by sharing career literacy information with parents and students
Critical career and college major planning information is shared with our students through their workshops. Theseworkshops complement the guidance activities we do in school and ultimately help prepare our students for a more successful college experience and career. This has really helped our students in understanding their areas of interest and how to plan their higher education
‘’I have known Mrs. Kalpana Deepak and Mrs. Tara Pillay personally for the last 2 years as Head of Department of Science as well as Head of Sixth Form.    I am extremely happy with the dedication with which the 2 counsellors from Varsity Connections conduct their various counselling activities at our school. They have quickly established a bond with our students and teachers.’’

Aga Khan Foundation

Varsity Connections has been the preferred academic counselor for the Aga Khan Scouts & Guides Group in Dubai for the last three years and in Kuwait for the year 2008.

We were introduced to the Varsity Connections team at GETEX 2005, where they were officiating as the event’s academic counselors. We were looking for support in counseling our students in education/career planning. Varsity was the right fit for us - their dedicated service, sincere attempt to reach out and provide personal academic guidance to students and passion for learning matched the ethos of our group.

In the past three years Varsity has conducted career search assessments, evaluation and counseling for students from our foundation both individually and in groups. Additionally, Varsity Connections participated in our career fair last year and provided guidance on university applications, timelines, and careers in demand to students and parents at the fair. We have received positive feedback from our group to their efforts and have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Our Own English High School Dubai would like to acknowledge the Academic Support  Services provided by Varsity Connections in conducting the UK based Aptitude Test  and for co-ordinating the Career Fair.
Our Own English High School was established in 1968, and is a GEMS school. The school runs classes from KGl to Grade XII and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, (CBSE) New Delhi, India. The school has on its rolls 7550 students from 23 nationalities and 280 faculty members from eleven countries. Around 180 of our grade 10 and 90 of our grade 12 students took the Aptitude Test in MaylJune 2009. The students paid a minimal cost to take the test. They were promptly  given a 13 page Career Mapping report which was followed by a group counselling  session for the students and parents on understanding and interpreting the career options reflected in their reports. The test enabled our students to understand the possible career options based on their aptitude, interest and personality.
In April 2010, Varsity Connections co-ordinated with 30 national and international universities in conducting our first career fair which was organised by the Career Counsellor. The Career Fair was a huge success. It was well received and appreciated by both our students and the participating universities.
We would like to recognise and thank Varsity Connections for their systematic, prompt and organised support. Our students have benefitted from their services and we hope to continue to maintain this mutually beneficial relationship.
With best Wishes,
Ainsley Edgar
